This track was recorded on a rather ghetto setup with Garageband and only the internal computer mic while I sang through Psalm 84. There were no retakes, or practice. I love encouraging singers and worship leaders to get comfortable singing the Scriptures and singing spontaneously, and this is a great way to practice. This is meant as an example track, and it is VERY RAW. You don't have to download it :)
UPDATE: I just checked my website stats for "most-downloaded" and this track came up. I had forgotten I had posted it already. Oh my.

This was one of the first songs I ever recorded (not this version). When I was 16, I had some friends who went to Beaumont University in Nashville and I drove down and recorded this song in the studios there. I had a little "band" and some gracious friends who played with me in coffee shops, universities and bookstores.
My name is Joanna Reyburn May and I am a worship leader, singer, songbird, theologian, Mary of Bethany in Kansas City at the International House of Prayer.
This website is a place where I write about what the Lord and I are talking about, upload worship recordings from my sets at IHOP–KC, share mp3's of sermons that are causing me to and grow, and post pdf's of classic Christian literature that I love. This is a collection of stuff that's blessed me thinking it may bless you too. If it does, post a comment or send me an email.
